Arsenal have identified Ajax left-back, Nicolas Tagliafico, as the player that will replace defender, Nacho Monreal at the club, according to Italian outlet, Calciomercato.
The 33-year-old Monreal missed the Gunner’s 3-1 win over Leicester City in the Premier League on Monday due to injury.
Goals from Mesut Ozil (1) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (2) ensured victory for the Emirates club.
The report claimed that Arsenal boss, Unai Emery believes Tagliafico, 26, will be the solution to his side’s left-back problem.
Tagliafico’s current contract with Ajax will end in 2022.
Arsenal will have to wait until the January transfer window to sign the Argentine star.
